I start chemotherapy next week. Pray for strength for my body, few side effects, and that I would feel God close to me in the hard days.

Father, I lift up Ruth to You right now. You are the Great Physician. Touch this body with Your healing power. Give wisdom to every doctor and nurse, and strength for every hard day. Where fear has crept in, fill this heart with Your peace. Thank You that You hear every prayer and that nothing is too hard for You. In Jesus' name, amen.
